The image was taken on a winter day in the small town of Port Dover, Ontario. I was walking along the water and noticed huge number of ducks sitting on the edge of the pier. I tried taking some pictures of them but I was not pleased with the outcome so I continued walking away from them. No less than a minute later I caught a glimpse of the flock rushing off into the air. I quickly grabbed my camera and this is the resulting image. I love that you can see their shadows on the frozen lake and snow. It still amazes me to see so many birds flying at once going in every direction. The image was processed in Lightroom and PS CC. The resulting image makes a perfect gift for a loved one or treat yourself and proudly hang it in your home. The image can be purchased as a print, canvas, metal, throw pillow or even as a greeting card. I hope you enjoy.
